Our Story
Westhaven Wines is a venture by two friends and wine enthusiasts, Casey and Jessica, who created a welcoming space where locals, and visitors alike, can enjoy a glass or pick up a great bottle of wine in Westport, WA. They look for creative ways to support and promote their community and are dedicated to ensuring their guests have an elevated experience.
Casey envisioned a place in Westport where people could get a great bottle of wine. So she put her nursing career on hold and popped the cork on her dream of opening a wine bar and bottle shop. When asked about the wine in the shop, she'll tell you, "If I wouldn't drink it, it's not here!"
To say Casey is crafty is an understatement. She's the Queen of Upcycling, and you'll find her crafts throughout the shop, from homemade wine bottle candles, tiki torches, and wine bottle sea glass. She's even created her own line of DIY cocktail infusions.
Jessica is one hardworking woman! A mom of two boys, an ER nurse, and an entrepreneur, when she's not working, you'll find her in the lineup, doing what she loves most, surfing. She moved to Westport, WA, in 1999 to be closer to the Ocean and fell in love with this little town on the Washington Coast.
Jessica and Casey met and became friends through nursing and soon discovered they had the same dream, to open a Wine Bar. A few months later, a wine-tasting trip to Woodinville, WA, where they randomly ran into each other, proved to be the catalyst for Westhaven Wines, taking this meeting as a sign that they should come together and chase their dreams.
Whether you're coming to Westhaven Wines to pick up a nice bottle of wine for dinner, socialize with your friends over a bottle and tapas, or for a glass or pint after a day on the water, you'll find that Jessica has reached her goals and has created a space that is clean, fun, relaxing, and welcoming. She is passionate about sharing her love of wine with her guests and wants them to discover new domestic and imported wines and enhance their pallet to other regions and varieties of wines.
